Questions about the metronome, practice or Pro? Get in touch.

Please include your device model, iOS/iPadOS version, app version and the steps that led to the issue. Only share screenshots or details you are comfortable emailing. Do not send passwords or payment-card information.

Set the tempo and meter

Slide the pendulum weight to change tempo, or tap the number above the metronome to enter an exact value. Tap or vertically swipe the mechanical meter wheel to cycle through 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 and 6/8. In 6/8, the tempo follows the dotted-quarter beat, with six eighth-note pulses in each bar.

Save a favorite setting

Tap the bookmark icon by the tempo readout, then Save. Your saved tempo and meter combinations can be recalled from Saved settings.

Start rhythm practice

Practice requires BeatPop Pro. Choose Tap or Voice, then Start practice. Listen for two bars, then repeat the pulse on the silent drum pad or sing a short da for each beat. Your first accepted beat is aligned automatically; later timing differences remain visible.

Microphone access

Only Voice practice needs microphone permission. If access was denied, open iOS Settings and enable Microphone for BeatPop. Tap practice works without microphone access. Voice practice is intended for individual short syllables in a reasonably quiet room.

Save and revisit a round

Tap Save on the timing review to add that round to History. Saving is explicit: unsaved rounds are not added to your log. From History, open a saved round to inspect its beats, practice again or delete it. Progress uses saved rounds, grouped by tempo, meter and input.

Restore Pro

BeatPop Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase, not a subscription. On the Pro page, use Restore purchases with the same Apple Account used for the purchase. If the price cannot load, check your connection and try again. Purchases awaiting approval unlock after Apple confirms them.

Apple handles payment and refund requests. For a billing or refund issue, visit Apple's Report a Problem. For an app issue, email the address above.

Your privacy

Voice audio is processed on your device and is never saved or uploaded by BeatPop. Read the privacy policy for more about local results, permissions and purchases.
