Privacy Policy

Effective August 16, 2026 · Developer: Zhe Liu

PitchPop is designed to analyze pitch on your device without requiring an account.

Audio and pitch data

When you record audio or import an audio file, PitchPop processes the audio locally on your device to create pitch information, waveforms, playback audio, images, or MIDI files. PitchPop does not upload this content to a developer-operated server.

Recordings created or imported in PitchPop may be stored in the app’s local Library so that you can replay, compare, rename, or export them. You can delete individual recordings or multiple selected recordings from the Library. Copies exported through the iOS file picker or share sheet are controlled by you and can be deleted using the Files app.

Purchases

PitchPop Studio purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. PitchPop checks the App Store entitlement needed to unlock Studio features. The developer does not receive or store your payment-card details.

Data collection and tracking

PitchPop does not require an account, does not include advertising or analytics SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not collect personal data through a developer-operated server.

Device permissions

PitchPop requests microphone access only when needed for real-time pitch recording. You can change microphone permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Children

PitchPop does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.

Changes to this policy

If PitchPop’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated. Features that upload audio, such as a future cloud-based vocal-separation service, will require a new privacy review before release.
